01 - DELPHINA FOUNDER UPDATE
Happy Spring everyone! I’m feeling so excited about the warmer weather and the upcoming pool season. We’ve been working on some great things the past few months that I’m excited to share:
- 🚛We changed our Installation Process to be easy and seamless for customers outside of Austin. Hello Houston and Dallas!
- 🤳We landed a partnership with Austin influencer Taste of Koko. She will be installing a Delphina at one of her homes which will be awesome exposure for us.
- 🔥We have learned more about electric/natural gas pool heaters for Delphina-sized pools and continue to work on the right solution for an October 2024 installation.
- 🫧We tested and found a robotic pool vacuum that makes cleaning the pool so. much. easier. See below.
- 🫳We tested countless versions of the handle for the roll-up leaf cover and finally have a great solution. Thank you to all our customers for your continuous feedback! Reach out to us if you need a new version for any reason.
- 💳With all the product improvements, we have increased the price of the pool package to $14,500 and are including all the upgrades that make the Delphina experience great (roll-up cover, rattan stairs, robotic vacuum, adhered cushions, etc.).
02 - SPRING CLEAN & WATER REFRESH
If you haven’t kept up with maintenance over the Winter and want some help getting your pool ready for swim season, a team member is available to deep-clean your pool liner and start a water refresh. For $200 (within 20 miles of 78704 - additional fee for longer drive), they will scrub the interior with the proper vinyl cleaner, remove all debris, and start the pool refill after the cleaning. You can pay them via Venmo or cash.
1️⃣ Text our tech, John, at 610.203.1490 and request a Delphina Pool deep clean and schedule a time.
2️⃣ Drain the pool using the Sump Pump we provided. DRAINING INSTRUCTIONS HERE. Fully drain the pool at least 24 hours before your cleaning so the liner can dry and it can be properly cleaned.
3️⃣ John will text you when he departs. Set a few alarm reminders to turn your water off after refill!
03 - PRODUCT IMPROVEMENTS AVAILABLE
We continue to perfect the pool and the experience for you! As a reminder, we have launched many product improvements over the past couple of years that are available to you as an upgrade if you do not have them. Some we source and install for you and some you can just order and easily install yourself! For the items we install, pricing is on the “Customer Retrofits” page of the website.
ROBOTIC CLEANING VACUUM
Our #1 suggestion: a game-changing robotic pool cleaner. It sucks up leaves, collects debris, climbs walls, and takes out almost all the manual work! Made by Dolphin.
HOW TO GET: Order yourself on Amazon here. The E10 model works well but the E20 is more powerful and (we feel) is worth the additional cost.

These Ledge Lounger stools are high quality, blend perfectly with the Delphina liner, and are very easy to use. Great for relaxing, reading, sipping a drink, or for kids to stand on.

MATCHING STAIRS &
EXTENDED HANDLES
These make getting in and out of the pool so much easier! You’re welcome to come by and check them out at the Showroom. We will install a new wood base, new extended handles, and matching stairs. We have some colors in stock now so just reach out if you’re interested.

PLUNGER VALVES FOR WATER FLOW
These valves allow you to change the filter WITHOUT putting the pump on top of the pool. They shut off the water flow so you can unscrew the top without water exploding out. They allow for much faster filter replacement and less strain. Easy to add on.

ROLL-UP
LEAF COVER
This makes hopping in and keeping the pool clean so much easier! We have continued to improve the design and are so proud of where we are with version...idk..20!? Truly. SO MANY ITERATIONS with that handle. But we got it!

CUSHIONS ADHERED
TO THE POOL
This allows you to keep the cushions on at all times. You can easily remove them if needed, but we keep ours on year-round now! Much easier to sit on and enjoy. The roll-up leaf cover slides on top.

04 - SPRING CLEANING POTENTIAL NEEDS
We continue to update the Maintenance Section of the website with product links, videos, cleaning suggestions, and more. If you have a question, check it out and see if the answer is there! Some things that might come up as you get your pool ready for Summer:
- 🧼Rust on your ladder or handles? Use Bar Keeper’s Friend! See our FAQ answer here.
- 🪑Need to clean your wood ladder base or wood bar? Use Teak Oil! See our FAQ answer here.
- 🫳Cover handle or bungee clips causing issues? Please message us so we can replace! We have multiple iterations out in the wild and can provide replacements where needed.
05 - SAFETY SUGGESTION
As a safety precaution, if you have extension cords, we suggest covering them up with an outdoor extension cord cover to ensure that water doesn’t seep into the join. We have made this a requirement going forward. You can purchase these for $30 on Amazon.
06 - REFERRAL PROGRAM
